1. Who can use Skinchii

You must be at least [MINIMUM AGE] years old (or the age of digital consent where you live, if higher) and able to form a binding contract.

2. Your account

  • Give accurate information and keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
  • Tell us promptly at [CONTACT EMAIL] if you think your account has been misused.

3. What Skinchii does — and does not do

Skinchii is an organiser: it helps you record beauty products, routines, reminders, notes and photos. It is not a medical device and does not give medical, dermatological or safety advice.

  • Expiry and “period after opening” dates are calculated from the information you enter or that is printed on the product. They are estimates. Always check the packaging and stop using a product if it looks, smells or feels different.
  • Reminders depend on your device settings, connectivity and third-party delivery services, so they may occasionally be late or missed.
  • Beauty tips are general information. Patch-test new products and talk to a qualified professional about skin concerns.
  • Barcode look-ups use the community-maintained Open Beauty Facts database, whose information may be incomplete or wrong. Please check details before saving them.

4. Free and Premium plans

Skinchii offers a free plan and a paid Premium plan. The current features and limits of each plan are shown in the app before you buy. We may change plan features or limits in the future; if a change reduces what your paid plan includes, we will tell you in advance and the change will not take effect before your current paid period ends, unless required by law. If your account goes over a limit (for example after Premium ends), nothing you saved is deleted, but you may not be able to add new items of that kind until you are back within the limit.

5. Subscriptions, billing and cancellation

  • Premium is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play. The price, currency and billing period are shown by the store before you confirm.
  • Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
  • Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You manage and cancel it in your store account settings — see how to cancel.
  • If a free trial is offered, its length and what happens when it ends are shown before you start it. [TRIAL TERMS, IF ANY]
  • Deleting the app or your Skinchii account does not cancel a store subscription.
  • Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple. Refunds for Google Play purchases follow Google Play's policies; you can also contact us at [CONTACT EMAIL]. Nothing in these terms limits refund rights you have under consumer law.
  • Premium access we grant manually (for example as a thank-you or for support reasons) is not a subscription; it may have an end date and is not billed.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you add to Skinchii (notes, photos, product details and so on). You give us a limited licence to store, process and display that content only to provide Skinchii to you — for example to sync it between your devices and send you reminders. Only add photos that you have the right to use, and do not upload images of other people without their consent.

7. Acceptable use

Do not:

  • break the law or infringe anyone's rights using Skinchii;
  • upload unlawful, harmful or sexually explicit content, malware or spam;
  • try to access other people's data, probe or overload our systems, or get around plan limits or security measures;
  • copy, resell or reverse-engineer the app except where the law allows it.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Where reasonable we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.

8. Third-party services

Skinchii relies on services such as Apple, Google, Firebase, Supabase, Expo, RevenueCat and Open Beauty Facts. Their own terms apply to your use of them (for example the App Store and Google Play terms for purchases). Data credits. Product catalog data includes information from Open Beauty Facts (https://world.openbeautyfacts.org), made available under the Open Database License (ODbL); product images under Creative Commons BY-SA.

9. Changes and availability

We work to keep Skinchii available and your data safe, but the service may sometimes be interrupted for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We may change or stop features; if we stop offering Skinchii we will give reasonable notice and a way to export your data.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
